Types of Membership
Active Membership
$40
Open to all persons actively engaged in directing bands
Affiliate Membership
$40
Open to anyone who is connected with the instrumental music field: private teacher, performer, clinician, orchestra director, composer, etc.
Corporate Membership
$100 to $1000+
Open to any business or corporation in support of the organization.
BASIC = $100
BRONZE = $175
SILVER = $250
GOLD = $500
GOLD+ = $1000
Student Membership
$25
Open to high school or college students who plan to major in the instrumental music field.
Retired or Tenured Membership
$25/$15
Retired ($25) - Open to any retired member.
Tenured ($15) - Open to any retired member who has been a paying member for ten (10) years and has thirty (30) years teaching experience or has reached the age of sixty (60).
Lifetime Membership
$0
Lifetime membership is awarded to WBDI Charter Members, Hall of Fame Inductees, Past Presidents, and members with 25+ years of membership in WBDI.
